By Daphne Clarance: American DJ Diplo brought the house down with his set at the global music festival, Lollapalooza, on Sunday. He arrived in Mumbai on Sunday morning and enthralled the audience on the closing day.

While Diplo’s set left the crowds grooving to songs like Oo Antava, his fashion statement stole the show. The DJ sported a black T-shirt with Aishwarya Rai’s name and pictures imprinted on it. As fans danced to Diplo’s fiery set, they also noticed his Aishwarya Rai T-shirt which many people thought was to “impress” the Indian audience.

On Twitter, a person wrote, “Diplo wearing Aishwarya Rai T is basically all of us born in the 90s.”

A Reddit user found it “cool” that Diplo wore the T-shirt to be relatable to the Indian audience: “I think it’s cool that he’s wearing it to a Mumbai show though even if he’s just trying to pander to the audience. If I was an artist I’d probably do the same if I was travelling to different countries for shows.”
