India registers 268 new COVID-19 cases, active cases stand at 3,552

New Delhi: India has administered 220.08 crore total vaccine doses (95.13 crore second dose and 22.39 crore precaution dose) of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive. 99,231 doses were administered in the last 24 hours.

182 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours increasing the total recoveries to 4,41,43,665. Consequently, the recovery rate currently stands at 98.8 per cent.

268 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours taking the tally of active cases in the country to 3,552. Active cases account for 0.01 per cent of the population.

A total of 91.04 crore COVID-19 tests have been conducted so far; 2,36,919 tests conducted in the last 24 hours. The daily positivity rate is 0.11 per cent and the weekly positivity rate is 0.17 per cent.
