Jabalpur university ‘forgets’ to conduct exam after issuing admit cards

A university in Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh “forgot” to conduct the exam for a subject despite releasing the timetable and issuing admit cards to students. When students of MSc computer science course reached Rani Durgavati University, they were informed that the exam would not be held as the university was not prepared.

The university administration has ordered an investigation into the matter after the National Students’ Union of India, the student wing of the Congress, created a ruckus.

The university had announced the timetable for the M.Sc. Computer Science first-semester exam in February. The exam was scheduled to be held on Tuesday but the candidates, who had also come from nearby districts, were surprised to find that the university had not made any preparation.
