Radikaa Sarathkumar also expressed her heartfelt condolences on Instagram and wrote, “Unbelievable! Daniel Balaji is a talented actor who debuted in our Radan Siddhi series. He got great fame despite playing the Siddhi series in a negative role. He is a wonderful person. His demise makes me grieve. May his soul rest in peace (sic).”

Kishore Kumar Huli also mourned the death of the actor on Instagram and wrote, “Goodbye brother .. Will miss you. Polladhavan was not just a film for the team it was home, an extended family. Though there was no communication on a regular basis. We always had a smile on our faces when would come across that occasional news or video about one of us of their ideas, films and success.”

Adding, he wrote, “Checkout when we speak about each other.. there is always a sense of pride. We were always happy and proud about whatever any of us did, with or without us. Wherever I go people ask me ‘eppo Vadachennai -2’.. Daniel Balaji was known for playing villain roles in films. His performance as Amudhan in director Gautham Menon and Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu’ still remains one of the iconic antagonist roles in Tamil cinema. More details regarding the cremation are awaited.
