It wouldn’t be an exaggeration if we say that Nagaland minister Temjen Imna Along’s sense of humour is what the internet is obsessively talking about. After winning a lot of appreciation for his ‘small eyes’ quip, the Nagaland minister once again became the point of discussion after posting a screenshot on Twitter that showed the Google search results of his name. He confirmed that he is single but not with a bland and regular tweet. He had a witty response to the Internet’s query about his wife. Well, that tweet also grabbed Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal’s attention.

Temjen Imna posted a screenshot on Twitter that shows the Google search results of his name. Besides wanting to know about his age, netizens were eager to get information about his wife. Along is single and he let the world know with his witty response.

“Ayalee, @Google search excites me. I am still looking for her!” Temjen Imna Along wrote, sharing the screenshot on Twitter.

However, the tweet also grabbed Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal’s attention and he wanted to be of some help to the politician. “Kuch karna padega (need to do something about it),” he wrote.

To this, Temjen Imna Along had the quirkiest response, “Bhai filhal hum bindas hai. Waiting for Salman Bhai.”

Meanwhile, on World Population Day (celebrated on 11 July), the Nagaland minister had a fun suggestion to control the country’s population. “On the occasion of #WorldPopulationDay, let us be sensible towards the issues of population growth and inculcate informed choices on childbearing. Or #StaySingle like me and together we can contribute towards a sustainable future. Come join the singles movement today,” he wrote.

Temjen Imna grabbed headlines after a video of him joking about the benefits of having ‘small eyes’ during a public address went viral on social media. The video was also shared by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

“Because I have small eyes, less dirt enters my eyes. Also, I can easily sleep when I am on the stage and some long program is going on,” Imna said.
