New Delhi: India has recorded 126 new cases in the last 24 hours, while the active cases in the country stand at 1835, which is 0.01 per cent, a health bulletin from the Union Health Ministry stated.
The Ministry updated that a total of 1.75 crores of COVID-19 tests were conducted so far, whereas 1,15,409 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. The daily positivity rate is 0.11 per cent and the weekly positivity rate is 0.09 per cent.
“India has administered 220.63 crores total vaccine doses (95.19 crores second dose and 22.85 crore precaution dose) of COVID-19 have been administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive. 7,850 doses administered in the last 24 hours,” the statement added.
Also, 113 recoveries were reported in the last 24 hours increasing the total recoveries to 4,41,51,910. The recovery rate currently stands at 98.81 per cent.
